plethora by JaclynTanemura plethora by JaclynTanemura
Revelstoke, BC, Canada.

Went waterfall hunting yesterday. This was a really large waterfall horizontally and I couldn't fit it in one frame. The logistics of creating a panorama were difficult too, so a bit stumped, I slowly made my way (sometimes crawling) over the slippery rocks to try and find a composition.

Afterward, I had to wring out my shirt sleeves that were sticking out from under my rain jacket. Haha!

And what you achieved was a well composed photo of a waterfall with a well placed small tree as a point of interest. Now if you perhaps work on focus before the next photo.

Lol, not sure what you're talking about; the blur of the long exposure in the foreground? This photo is very sharp, my friend.

I think you nailed it.  I'm glad your shirt sleeves were all you had to wring out.  :-)

Nice job! I'm looking to get a dslr. When I get it, if you have any tips, just let me know. Thanks!

By the way, do you do photography for a living?

Thanks! Not sure what type of photography you're interested in doing, or what type of tip you're looking for, but my advice would be to shoot what you love shooting, as much as you can.

Yes, I do it for a living :)

I'm interested in astrophotography and landscapes.

And that's awesome you do it for a living, how did you get to do that?

You build a portfolio and people start hiring you
It's all about marketing and being consistent, really. Companies start looking at you and sometimes you land a sponsor here and there.
If I were you, I'd probably try getting the Nikon D810 and some wide 2.8 glass.

Thanks for the advice! I'll have to wait on the camera though. I lack those kinds of funds.
