Description
The swans come in the winter to our lake, and are very, very shy. I stepped onto the beach (the ice went about 20 feet offshore) and they immediately became wary of me. So I fell back, gave them their space, and wished I had more focal length! This is a majorly cropped photo - in the original, this swan was pretty far away looking.

Great capture of the pose with the wings outspread and nice lighting too, it makes the water look wonderful.
