blood moon rising

I'm a little late to the party, but here's a compilation of 13 shots taken over the course of the evening and then put together into this one shot to show the progress of that super blood moon lunar eclipse. Where we were, the lunar eclipse itself wasn't able to be viewed, but the blood moon began rising over that hill as the clouds cleared. What an eerie sight!
The moon was shot at 200mm over the course of the evening, and the scenery was shot on my 16-35mm lens at twilight and then again when all the stars had come out. The tripod stayed in one spot the entire evening to make sure I wouldn't have any issues lining up the land later. Had a great night having a campfire at the cabin with my family and listening to Creedence Clearwater while watching the moon rise!
